Good Neighbor Work

Cedar Pet Clinic Lake Elmo works to be good business neighbors in the communities we serve. Below are a few of our programs; ask us for more information.

  • Dr. Baillie, and our clinic, are active with the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Foundation, which provides veterinary scholarships each year, and also supports programs like BART (Basic Animal Rescue Training), VetCamp for high school students, and public education efforts such as the Miracle of Birth Center at the Minnesota State Fair.
  • Our clinic is active with the Animal Care Foundation, which enables veterinary care for pets belonging to people who are blind, disabled, elderly, and have limited financial resources.
  • Dr. Plantz organizes our staff team in the Bark for Life fundraiser.
  • Since 2001, our staff has been regular guests at the Lake Elmo Elementary School Science Fair, talking about pet care and the science of veterinary medicine.
  • Since 2001, we have welcomed annual clinic visits and tours for the first grade class at Lake Elmo Elementary School.
  • We provide emergency treatment of wild animals, and referrals to licensed rehabilitators.
  • Dr. Baillie served as Medical Director for The Wildcat Sanctuary from 1998 to 2013, providing care for rescued cougars, bobcats, tigers, and a pride of lions.
